Ten years ago, natural wine was a niche interest in Berlin. Today, dozens of bars specialise in unfiltered, minimally produced wines — making the city one of Europe's most exciting destinations for natural wine lovers.

Freundschaft — Mittelstraße, Mitte

Small, personal, and superbly curated. The list changes weekly, the owner knows every winemaker personally, and there's a story behind every glass. A must-visit for anyone exploring Berlin's neighbourhood wine scene in Mitte.

Jaja — Weserstraße, Neukölln

The bar that put Neukölln on the natural wine map. In summer you sit outside on Weserstraße; in winter, indoors amongst exposed brick walls. The selection is vast and the recommendations always on point.

Viniculture — Gipsstraße, Mitte

More wine shop than bar — with over 200 wines available by the glass. You could spend hours here tasting and learning. Excellent cheese and charcuterie boards from small artisan producers round things off perfectly.
